This bathroom was very dated with a rusty metal shower stall,
rust-stained and leaky toilet and sink.

I gutted the room to the studs, reconfigured plumbing and electric, insulated, built a new tiled shower with cubbies for shampoo and soap (a favorite customization of many clients). I also tiled the floor, installed a new toilet, vanity, sink, faucet and new lights.

 

* A new exhaust fan was essential to this renovation. Most older baths are not properly vented and are prone to mold and mildew as a result. (see the section on "Choosing an Exhaust Fan--Deluxe or Economy, Whats the Difference?" in the Home Solutions section.
