Addition Built onto Existing Home

This project began with the removal of a small non-functional addition that leaked and was too narrow to serve as a functional room.
I installed new footings and new foundation, and built the new structure according to architect's plans and drawings. Where this addition tied into the original house, I enlarged an existing half-bath to add a shower and towel warmer.

Twelve foot ceiling, french doors and ample windows for a bright sunny room, through-the-wall heat pump, entrance from driveway with vestibule for shoe rack and coats. Step up ties addition into existing house.

Heat-tubing in concrete slab makes the tiled floor warm and confortable and radiates heat throughout the room in winter.
